1. Coat: white all over (will become cream-colored as it grows older, the puppy should also be white, no patches of any other color are allowed, double coat, black nose.
2. The head is wedge-shaped, broad, and the top of the head is slightly domed, but not rounded or apple-shaped. The points of the ears and the stop form an equilateral triangle.
3. Mouth: of medium length, medium width, neither coarse nor too long, tapering slightly toward the nose bridge in a conical shape, and proportionate in size to the width of the head. The mouth must be deep, with lips that are a continuous, dark color and a smooth, even lip line. The upper lip should not hang excessively, and the corners of the mouth should curve slightly upward to form the distinctive “Samoyedic smile.”
4. The ears are solid and thick; they stand erect; they are triangular in shape and rounded at the tip; they cannot be too large or too pointed, nor too small.
5. The eyes are dark in color, set fairly far apart, and deep; almond-shaped; and the lower eyelids point towards the ears. A dark eye ring is the ideal.
6. Muscular, with head held high, it stands at attention with its noble head supported by the sloping shoulders on an upright posture. The neck blends with the shoulders to form a graceful arch. Intelligent, refined, loyal, adaptable, vigilant, active, eager to serve, friendly but reserved.
